EXCHANGE & RETURNS

At Mevrou & Co, we hope you absolutely love everything you order from us, but if something isn’t quite right, don’t worry. We’re here to help and will gladly assist with returns or exchanges within 14 days of purchase.

As a proudly South African small business, we aim to offer a smooth and fair process, and truly appreciate it when customers opt for store credit instead of a refund. This helps us continue growing and investing in our local production.

1. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:

  • Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items
    If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not as described, we will offer a full refund, exchange, or store credit (voucher), based on your preference within 14 days of purchase. Your original shipping fee will be included.

  • Changed Your Mind or Need a Different Size/Style?
    If your item is unsuitable or doesn’t meet your expectations, you’re welcome to return or exchange it, provided:
    - It is in a resellable condition (unworn, unwashed, unused, with all original tags and packaging still intact)
    - The return is initiated within 14 days of purchase
    - You may also exchange the item for a different size or style, as long as it is of equal or lesser value.
  • Sale and Discounted Items
    Items purchased on sale or during promotional events (e.g. Black Friday) are not eligible for refunds, but we may offer an exchange, depending on availability.

Please note: returns are not processed during large promotional events and will be attended to once the sale period ends. an additional courier fee will be billed to you for exchanges that are not due to a product fault (e.g., wrong size, change of mind). We’ll confirm this amount via email before proceeding with the exchange.

2. HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Please follow the steps below to return or exchange an item:

1. Pack the Item
Place the garment in its original packaging.

2. Contact Us
Email us at support@mevrouandco.com with:

- Your reason for returning the item

- Whether you’d prefer an exchange or store credit

- If exchanging, please include the desired style or size

3. Return Options
We’ll email you return instructions and available options for sending your garment back to us.

We would love to cover courier fees in full one day, but as a growing small business, this is not yet feasible. We currently absorb half the courier cost on every order and ask that customers cover return shipping for non-defective items. We are unable to refund any original shipping fees.

3. REFUNDS & STORE CREDIT

Once we have received and inspected the item, your refund, exchange, or store credit will be processed within 14 business days.

4. IMPORTANT NOTES

  • We require valid proof of purchase for all returns.
  • If the item is defective but you no longer have proof of purchase, we will issue store credit in the form of a Mevrou & Co gift voucher.
  • Items must be returned in clean, unused condition. Any garments with make-up, deodorant, fragrance, or signs of wear cannot be accepted for return or exchange.
  • Personalised or customised items are not eligible for return unless they are defective.Any unauthorised alterations to our products will void eligibility for return.
